The cyclone victims in Myanmar need your support ...
Help Provide a Word of Hope in Myanmar!
On May 2, Cyclone Nargis struck Southeast Asia, killing more than 77,000 people in the country of Myanmar and leaving many hundreds of thousands homeless. The United Nations estimates that 2.5 million people in Myanmar are still in need of the most basic provisions—clean water, shelter, food, sanitary facilities, and medicines.
Lutheran Hour Ministries has operated a ministry center, Word of Hope, in Yangon for nine years. The center and its staff came through the storm safe but need your help and support to respond to the suffering of their neighbors. Use our sixty, thirty, and fifteen seconds PSAs to offer your listeners the opportunity to reach out to all those affected in Myanmar.
New Public Service Announcements to aid the cyclone victims in Myanmar are now available below.
